? About the Role

We’re currently seeking caring, reliable, and passionate Support Workers to join our growing team.

In this role, you’ll provide hands-on support to participants, helping them achieve their personal goals and maintain their independence. No two days are the same—but every day, your work will positively impact someone’s life.

Regular Support Worker Prospect – Dementia Care (Mon/Wed/Fri)

We’re seeking calm, confident support workers to assist a long‑term client with dementia who relies heavily on routine, reassurance, and gentle redirection. Shifts are Monday, Wednesday, or Friday – 9am–6pm, with the option to take one day on an ongoing basis.

The role includes community access, meals out, personal prompts, and behaviour support. The client can become confused or distressed and may display yelling, swearing, or sudden anger. Following her home guidelines (including “No Supermarkets”) is important to prevent escalation. A timid rescue dog is present in the home and tends to hide during heightened behaviours.

Despite challenges,



the client has calmer periods where she enjoys outings, conversation, and familiar routines. Consistency from support workers makes a significant positive impact on her wellbeing.

We’re looking for workers who:

- stay calm under pressure

- are confident with behaviour support strategies

- enjoy one‑on‑one work

- want a regular weekly shift

✅ What You’ll Need

- An ABN (or willingness to obtain one)

- Right to work in Australia

- First Aid & CPR Certificate

- NDIS Worker Modules

- Disability Worker Screening Card (Yellow Card)

- Certificate III or IV in Aged Care or Disability Support

- Current Australian Federal Police or Queensland National Police Check

- Current Australian driver’s licence

- Roadworthy, registered vehicle (kilometres reimbursed)
