About the role

South Pacific Bowling is seeking an Lead Installer to join our team in Williamstown North, Victoria. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in the successful installation and commissioning of bowling equipment and infrastructure across our projects. This role has high travel requirements and regular projects away from home. As Lead Installer, you will work with and oversee the technical execution of installations across Australia, Current Zealand and the South Pacific, ensuring quality standards are maintained, and supervise installation teams to deliver exceptional results for our clients.

This role is a hands on role essential to maintaining our reputation for excellence in the entertainment industry.

Key responsibilities

- Lead and work alongside installation teams during the deployment of bowling equipment, lanes, and associated infrastructure

- Ensure all installations comply with technical specifications, safety standards, and project requirements

- Conduct site assessments and prepare detailed installation plans and timelines

- Coordinate with project managers and clients to ensure installations are completed on schedule and within scope

- Perform precision installation and calibration of bowling lanes, pin setters, scoring systems, and auxiliary equipment

- Troubleshoot technical issues and implement solutions to ensure optimal equipment performance

- Maintain comprehensive installation documentation and progress reports

- Ensure all work sites meet health and safety requirements and implement proper safety protocols

- Train and mentor junior installation staff,



fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement

- Liaise with clients to address concerns and ensure satisfaction with completed installations

What we're looking for

- Proven experience as an installer or lead installer, preferably within the bowling industry, hospitality, or entertainment venue sectors

- Knowledge of bowling equipment, pinsetters, scoring equipment, and related technical infrastructure preferred, not not essential as on-site training will be provided.

- Good understanding of construction principles and health and safety compliance within project environments

- Demonstrated ability to lead and supervise installation teams effectively

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Proficiency in reading technical drawings, blueprints, and project specifications

- Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with clients, project managers, and team members

- Physical capability to perform hands-on installation work and manage demanding site conditions

- Relevant certifications or qualifications in project management, installation practices, or construction (preferred)

- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various project sites as required
