Join JR Complete Painting and Complete Coatings as an Operations & Marketing Assistant. This is a diverse role where you'll work closely with the Office Manager and Director, helping with marketing, customer experience, stock organisation and general business operations. You'll work 2–3 days per week on a casual basis initially, with the potential to move into a permanent part time position with increased hours as the role develops.
Key responsibilities
Visit completed painting and epoxy flooring projects to take photos and videos, including before, progress and after photos to showcase workmanship
Take team photos and behind-the-scenes content to showcase people and company culture
Upload content and schedule posts across social media platforms
Build and maintain an organised library of project photos and videos
Follow up with completed projects and aim to generate Google Reviews
Send customer thank-you packs after every successful project, including thank you cards, referral program cards and Google Review cards
Complete a weekly stocktake of products and monitor stock levels
Pick up stock from Newcastle when required and organise stock for upcoming flooring projects
Coordinate with the flooring team to ensure vans are stocked with required brushes, rollers, consumables and equipment
Ensure the downstairs bathroom and showroom are clean, tidy and presentable

Organised and reliable
Proactive and able to work without being constantly directed
Comfortable using an iPhone and computer
Confident with social media
A valuable communicator
Friendly and professional with customers
Comfortable working around tradespeople and a busy construction workplace
Happy to get out of the office to visit jobs and take photos
Able to work independently but also enjoys being part of a team
Holds a current driver's licence
