Daydream Island Resort & Living Reef is located in the heart of Queensland’s Whitsunday Islands and the gateway to the World Heritage-listed Great Barrier Reef. The island is one of the closest Whitsunday islands to the mainland (Airlie Beach) with spectacular 30-minute ferry ride to work each day.

About the role
Monitor and supervise guests in and around the pools to ensure their safety.
Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies, incidents or potential hazards.
Enforce pool rules and safety regulations in a friendly and skilled manner.
Provide first aid, CPR and emergency assistance when required.
Maintain awareness of pool conditions and identify potential safety risks.
Assist guests with general enquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
Work collaboratively with the wider Resort team to maintain high standards of safety and presentation.
This role is a live off island position.

Have a proven ability to follow secure work practices and established procedures.
Be proactive, reliable and confident using your initiative.
Remain calm and skilled when responding to emergency situations.
Must hold current qualifications - Pool lifeguard certificate (SISSS00133), First Aid, CPR, Advanced Resuscitation & O2 provider
Must be eligible to work in Australia
