Last One Inn Barwon Heads is looking for an experienced Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team.

We’re looking for someone who is confident running a section, works well under pressure and takes pride in producing consistently good food. Just as importantly, we’re building a kitchen team with strong standards, clear communication and a positive working culture.

The venue trades Wednesday to Sunday across lunch and dinner, with the full-time roster structured across these service periods.

The role

As Chef de Partie, you’ll be responsible for:
Running your section confidently and maintaining strong organisation throughout service
Completing prep to a high and consistent standard
Delivering dishes accurately and efficiently during service
Maintaining strong food safety, cleanliness and kitchen standards
Supporting the Sous Chef and Head Chef with the day-to-day running of the kitchen
Communicating well with the wider kitchen team
Supporting junior team members where required

About you

We’re looking for someone who:
Has solid experience in a busy, professional kitchen




Is comfortable managing their own section
Works cleanly, efficiently and with attention to detail
Remains calm and organised during busy services
Is reliable, punctual and consistent
Takes pride in the quality of their work
Communicates well and contributes positively to the team
Is available to work weekends as part of the regular roster

What we offer
$70,000–$75,000 + superannuation, depending on experience
Full-time, 38-hour roster

Pay: $70,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
