We are looking for someone with solid residential lending and credit experience who can confidently manage loan applications from initial assessment through to settlement. You will work closely with our brokers, clients, lenders and internal support team, ensuring applications are well structured, accurately prepared and proactively managed. The role will suit someone who enjoys the technical side of lending, takes ownership of their work and thrives in a fast-paced brokerage setting.
Key responsibilities
Communicate with clients and collect required supporting documentation.
Review client financial positions and borrowing requirements.
Research lender policies and assess servicing and borrowing capacity.
Workshop simple and complex residential lending scenarios.
Assist brokers with structuring lending solutions and preparing recommendations.
Prepare and package high-quality loan applications for submission.
Manage applications from submission through to formal approval and settlement.
Liaise proactively with lenders, clients and other stakeholders.
Maintain accurate CRM records, compliance notes and supporting documentation.
Complete quality and compliance checks before applications are lodged.
About you
Minimum 3 years' experience as a Credit Analyst,
Para Broker or similar role within the Australian mortgage industry.
Strong residential lending and lender-policy knowledge.
Experience managing loan applications end-to-end.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Confidence working independently while also being a strong team player.
A proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership.
Experience with mortgage-broking CRM and servicing platforms.
