About the role

The successful applicant will be involved in a variety of construction and maintenance projects throughout Kununurra and the wider East Kimberley region.

Key responsibilities
General carpentry and building works
New construction and refurbishment projects
Repairs and maintenance
Internal and external fit-out works
Installation of doors, frames, cabinetry, fixtures and building components
Working from plans, specifications and scopes of work
Coordinating with supervisors, subcontractors and other trades
Maintaining a clean and protected worksite

About you
Trade qualification in Carpentry
Previous experience in residential and/or commercial construction
Current Construction Induction Card (White Card)
Current Australian Driver's Licence
Good understanding of WHS requirements
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
Good communication and time-management skills
Ability to work in the conditions associated with the East Kimberley
