Our client, an Australian-owned manufacturer, is expanding their manufacturing team due to continued growth and is looking for an experienced Fitter & Turner/ Machinist to join the team.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a combination of machining, fitting and assembly, and takes pride in producing high-quality work.
You will work both independently and as part of a team, helping to ensure production standards are maintained.
Your responsibilities
Machining manufactured parts
Modifying and maintaining machine components, tooling and parts
Fitting and assembly
Fault finding and troubleshooting
Reading and working from technical and engineering drawings
Ensuring work is completed to a high standard
Following workplace health and safety procedures
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
Mechanical Fitter Trade Qualification or equivalent
Experience machining across different machining centers
Experience machining to engineering drawings
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Good understanding of Workplace Health and Safety
Fitting and assembly experience is highly regarded
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Robust focus on quality and attention to detail
