Salary – $125,000 + super
Are you a skilled Maintenance Fitter looking for a reliable, long-term opportunity with a leading food manufacturing business?
We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join a high-performing manufacturing site on a permanent night shift roster, working 7 days per fortnight on 12-hour shifts.
The OpportunityYou’ll be responsible for keeping a busy food manufacturing facility running safely and efficiently, working across a range of production, packaging and processing equipment.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a mechanically skilled tradesperson who enjoys a hands-on role and wants the benefits of a permanent night shift roster with plenty of time off.
About the Role
Permanent night shift position
7 days per fortnight
All shifts are 12 hours
Preventative and reactive maintenance across the site
Fault finding, breakdown response and repairs
Mechanical maintenance of production and packaging equipment
Equipment servicing and continuous improvement
Working closely with production and maintenance teams
Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
About You
We are looking for a qualified Maintenance Fitter with:
Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade or equivalent
Previous experience in food, FMCG or manufacturing environments
Strong mechanical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
Experience with conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, pneumatics and automated production equipment
Ability to work independently on night shift
Strong commitment to safety and quality
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
