We are looking for dedicated passionate Support Workers to join our caring and energetic team and provide high quality in-home support services to our valued clients. We are seeking staff who are respectful and understanding who will insure that the utmost care is taken to insure our clients feel valued and a healthy working relationship is formed. Shifts will range from 2hrs to 8hrs and overnights
Duties and responsibilities may include:
Social support/transportation: social activities, shopping/groceries, travelling to medical appointments
Assistance in personal care
Domestic assistance: cleaning, laundry and meal preparation, basic garden maintenance
Supporting clients with complex and/or challenging needs
Participating in staff meetings and attending training as required
Problem solving and communication skills
What you will need:
NDIS Worker Screening Check/Criminal Record Check
Current First Aid certificate/CPR
Current Australian Driver’s License minimum 2 years of driving experience
Reliable, registered and insured vehicle
Smart phone with internet access
Current Working with Children Check Preferred (or equivalent state based check)
Minimum Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Home & Community Care, Individual Support or Disability Services (preferred)
