Lead Master Scheduler

Executive-Level Contract Prospect

We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Master Scheduler to provide strategic scheduling leadership across a large and complex program portfolio.

This role is ideal for a career scheduling professional who can establish and maintain integrated master schedules, provide critical path analysis, manage dependencies, and deliver high-quality reporting to executive stakeholders and governance bodies.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the development and maintenance of integrated master schedules across multiple projects and workstreams.
Ensure alignment between project schedules, program milestones, dependencies and delivery objectives.
Conduct schedule health checks, critical path analysis and performance reporting.
Identify scheduling risks, issues and impacts, and drive mitigation strategies.
Provide expert advice on planning, scheduling and program controls practices.
Support portfolio governance, assurance reviews and executive reporting.
Drive continuous improvement and capability uplift in planning and scheduling disciplines.

Essential Requirements




Extensive experience leading scheduling functions within large-scale government, ICT, transformation or enterprise programs.
Demonstrated expertise in integrated master scheduling, dependency management and critical path analysis.
Solid knowledge of project delivery methodologies including PRINCE2, PMBOK and Agile.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, Power BI and the Microsoft suite.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills.
Proven ability to influence senior leaders and work autonomously in complex environments.
Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent industry experience.

Desirable
Experience working within Australian Government agencies.
Current Australian Government Security Clearance, or eligibility to obtain one.
