Supporting Abilities for Everyone (S.A.F.E.) is seeking passionate Disability Support Worker(s) to join the team, located throughout south-east Melbourne.
Male participant.
Caulfield North location.
Weekdays 10:00 am - 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm. Weekends 9:00 am - 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm. Inactive overnights possibly available soon.
Motor Neurone Disease (MND) diagnosis and experience required.
Tasks include: supervision/companionship, basic domestic assistance (vacuuming, dusting, etc), meal prep, community access/shopping, personal care (showering, toileting, etc) in near future.
Support worker preference, female around/over 30 years of age. Must have license and own vehicle.
Support expected to continue to increase over time.
Possibility for additional work with other participants nearby.

We are looking for a competent, enthusiastic and reliable Support Workers who possess the right empathy, interpersonal skills and ethics to prioritise the care of our clients.

Essential Selection Criteria (or willingness to obtain):




Current First Aid and CPR certificate.
Current National Police Check
Current Working with Children Check (Employee status/if working with participants <18 years of age).
Valid Australian Driver’s License.
A reliable vehicle with Comprehensive Car Insurance (to transport participants).
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (Approximately $123).
Fully vaccinated against Covid-19 (minimum of two doses).
The right to work in Australia.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $41.50 – $80.00 per hour
