Austek Asphalt Services is seeking an experienced MC Float Driver to join our team in Yatala, Queensland. This is a full time role that will see you playing a crucial part in the delivery of our road construction and maintenance services across South-East Queensland.

What you'll be doing
Safely operate and maintain low loaders and other heavy haulage equipment
Load and unload construction machinery unsupervised in an urban setting or remote areas
Perform pre-start checks and basic maintenance on equipment
Deliver equipment and materials to job sites in a timely manner
Adhere to all safety procedures and traffic management plans
Provide excellent customer service to our clients

What we're looking for
A valid Heavy Vehicle (MC) driver's licence
Construction Card
Extensive experience operating low loaders and other heavy haulage equipment
Solid knowledge of load restraint and traffic management practices
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
Commitment to safety and a proven track record of safe work practices




Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to undergo and pre-employment medical assessment
