As the Senior Receptionist, this role offers an organised and customer focused person the chance to step up and take on more operational responsibility. This role is Full time or Part time.
Reporting to and supported by the Chief Executive Officer, your role will be varied and involves:
Medical Experience Is Essential
Full Understanding of Medicare Billing Requirements
People Management
Ability to Manage a Busy Front Desk Environment
Overseeing General Practice Processes
Patient Billing and Reporting
Medical Terminology
Knowledge of RIS and PACS Systems are Essential
In addition you will:
Drive the efficient performance of the Front Desk
Ensure clinical records are complete and accurate
Ensure timely collection of payments from Medicare, TAC, insurers and others
Produce required reports and make recommendations
Input to employee rosters in line with Practice requirements
Be the point of contact for Medical referrers and health care providers
Knowledge of medical billing and production of reports
Genuine empathy for patient welfare and superior customer service by “leading by example” and ensuring staff adhere to best practice standards
Excellent relationship building skills and the ability to promote and grow the patient flow into the practice
A sense of fun, drive and passion about your work, is a true team player
Experience in working in a Radiology Practice is not essential but is a distinct advantage and will be highly regarded.
