We are seeking an experienced Workforce Rostering Coordinator with preferable Payroll experience from State Government for an immediate start. This short-term opportunity (approximately 3 months) will support workforce functions rather than traditional end-to-end payroll processing.
The role will focus on payroll validation, workforce data accuracy, and liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure payroll-related information is correct and processed within required timeframes.

Key Responsibilities
Validate payroll and workforce data to ensure accuracy and compliance with organisational requirements
Review overtime, additional hours, and workforce transactions within the payroll system
Support workforce planning processes by ensuring payroll data integrity
Liaise with internal stakeholders and shared services payroll teams to resolve payroll-related queries
Assist with payroll-related documentation and system updates
Provide high-level customer service in responding to employee payroll enquiries
Essential Requirements
Demonstrated experience using Chris21 payroll system (essential)
Previous payroll experience, preferably within government or large organisations
Strong attention to detail with a proven track record of accuracy
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to work in a quick-paced workplace and meet deadlines
Must hold a current National Police Check
