This is a casual position offering 10–30 hours per week, with approximately 30 hours currently available.

About the role

Reception is the first point of contact for our guests, so excellent customer service is the number one priority. We are looking for someone who is friendly, professional and genuinely enjoys helping people.

The position involves both morning and afternoon/evening shifts:
Morning: 8:00am – 2:00pm
Afternoon/Evening: 2:00pm – 8:00pm
Monday to Saturday

About you

The successful applicant will:
Have previous administration and/or reception experience
Have excellent customer service skills and a pleasant, friendly demeanour
Have a confident and qualified telephone manner
Be comfortable using computers and be reasonably quick and accurate on a keyboard
Be able to multitask and prioritise in a busy reception workplace
Be organised, reliable and well presented
Be able to confidently follow established procedures and policies
Be comfortable dealing with guests, enquiries, bookings and general reception duties




Be able to work independently while also being part of a small team

Accommodation experience

Previous experience in the accommodation or motel industry is highly regarded.

Experience with GuestPoint PMS would be an advantage, although training will be provided to the right applicant.

What we are looking for

Most importantly, we are looking for someone who understands that great customer service comes first. You will need to be calm and skilled when dealing with guests, have good attention to detail and be able to manage several tasks at once.
