The role of medical receptionist is a very critical role. The successful candidate will support the vision and mission of Centenary Medical Centre in coordinating the clinic and staff to a standard of excellence.
Pay rate will be discussed based on experience and in accordance to the Health Professionals and Support Services Award.
Prospect to move to Full time/Part time employment for the successful candidate.
Start date is ASAP

Key requirements:
Previous experience with Best Practice or Medical Director is MUST
Manage appointment schedules
Working knowledge of Medicare item numbers for general practice
Assisting clients with booking appointments with specialists and other providers.
Work effectively within a team and also able to work independently.
Possess a robust work ethic




Display a professional manner via phone and with patients in the clinic setting
Able to multitask and display fantastic organisational skills.

Responsibilities:
Scheduling appointments and processing payments.
Banking
Organising incoming correspondence and directing to the appropriate health professional.
Liaising with patients and their families and assisting with arrangements for their care.
Assisting our GP's and allied health providers with required administration tasks.

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $28.00 – $35.00 per hour
