Chapter Three Espresso & Bar – Canterbury, VIC

Salary: $65,000–$75,000 + Super

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Café / Restaurant Manager to lead our team, increase revenue, attract new customers, and manage the daily operations of the business.

Key Responsibilities
Manage daily café and restaurant operations.
Increase revenue, sales and profitability.
Generate current leads and attract new customers.
Develop functions, catering and local business opportunities.
Create promotions and marketing initiatives.
Recruit, train, motivate and manage staff.
Prepare and manage staff rosters and shift coverage.
Monitor staff performance and maintain high service standards.
Manage labour costs, stock, ordering and suppliers.
Deliver excellent customer service and handle customer concerns.
Ensure smooth breakfast, lunch, dinner and function service.
Manage cash, EFTPOS and end-of-day procedures.




Maintain food safety, RSA, cleanliness and workplace standards.

Skills & Requirements
1–2+ years’ experience in a café, restaurant supervisor, or management role.
Strong leadership and staff training experience.
Excellent rostering and team management skills.
Sales-focused with the ability to grow the business.
Barista experience with excellent coffee and latte art skills.
Valid RSA certificate.
Full Australian working rights.
Flexible availability, including weekends and evenings.
Reliable, organised and passionate about hospitality.
