Core Responsibilities
Assessment & Consultation: Interviewing clients regarding symptoms, medical history, and desired results to determine the appropriate massage technique.
Treatment Delivery: Applying techniques such as soft tissue manipulation, kneading, and pressure to muscles, tendons, and ligaments.
Specialised Techniques: Offering services like remedial, sports, relaxation, reflexology, or prenatal massage.
Client Care & Advice: Providing recommendations for stretches, exercises, and relaxation techniques for self-care at home.
Administration & Hygiene: Maintaining accurate,



confidential client treatment records and ensuring a clean, secure, and sanitised workspace.

Key Requirements & Skills
Certification: Formal education from an accredited massage therapy school and required state or regional certification.
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and use hands, arms, and body weight for, in some cases, several hours a day.
Interpersonal Skills: Solid communication skills for client consultations and maintaining a professional, empathetic demeanor.
Knowledge of Anatomy: A valuable understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and soft tissue dysfunction.

Pay: $32.18 – $35.66 per hour

Expected hours: 12.0 – 24.0 per week
