We are seeking a reliable Warehouse / Storeperson with a forklift licence to join our team in Deception Bay. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a wide-ranging role combining warehouse duties, customer interaction and basic office support.
With Monday to Friday hours, $34.96 per hour and the potential to transition from temporary to permanent, this role offers great stability for the right person.
About the Role
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Picking and packing customer orders accurately
Operating a counterbalance forklift to load and unload trucks
Using a drop saw to cut aluminium to size
Assisting customers when they visit the warehouse
Maintaining a clean, secure and organised warehouse
Providing backup support to the office customer service team
Basic order entry and data entry
Working closely with the team to ensure orders are processed efficiently
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
Holds a current forklift licence – essential
Experienced operating a counterbalance forklift
Reliable, punctual and safety conscious
Physically capable of performing warehouse duties
Comfortable interacting with customers
Confident answering phones and assisting with basic office tasks
Computer literate with good attention to detail
A team player who is willing to pitch in wherever needed
