Salary: $80,000 – $90,000 (negotiable based on experience)

We are a growing venue operating as an Australian-style brunch cafe from 7am–3pm and an Asian-style katsu-focused restaurant from 5pm–9pm.

Our cafe was acquired 6 months ago and we are now looking for a talented Head Chef to lead the next stage of our growth.

About the Role

You will be responsible for:
Menu development for both brunch and katsu-style dinner
Setting up and maintaining smooth kitchen operations and systems
Training and leading other chefs and kitchen staff
Monitoring inventory and ordering supplies as required
Managing food costs and minimising waste
Ensuring consistent quality, food safety and cleanliness

About You
Experienced chef in an Australian brunch cafe preferable
Robust skills in menu development, costing and kitchen systems
Able to lead,



train and motivate a small team
Organised, reliable and comfortable working across both brunch and Asian-style katsu offerings

What We Offer
