We are seeking an enthusiastic, reliable, and motivated Experienced Dental Receptionist/Front Office Coordinator & Dental Assistant for full time ,part time or casual positions. Successful candidates will be team-oriented, clinically confident, and detail-focused, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workplace.
Key responsibilities
Welcoming patients and creating an excellent first impression
Managing incoming calls, emails and online enquiries
Coordinating appointments and maintaining an organised and productive appointment book
Proactively working on the appointment book and helping fill available appointments
Managing current patient and treatment enquiries
Following up cancellations, outstanding treatment and patients requiring further appointments
Managing recalls and helping maintain strong patient relationships
Processing payments and general front-office administration
Maintaining accurate patient records
Working closely with our dentists, clinical team and management to keep the practice running smoothly
Sterilisation processes and equipment management
Accurate record-keeping and patient documentation
Infection control protocol implementation
About you
Has previous dental reception experience – this is essential
Experienced in Exact (Dental Software)
Sound knowledge of infection control protocols
Proficiency in chairside and surgical assistance
Experience with sterilisation processes and equipment
Certificate III/IV in Dental Assisting or equivalent
Positive, adaptable, and proactive attitude
Ability to follow established systems and clinical workflows
Strong multitasking, prioritisation, and initiative skills
