As Lead Rigger, you will be responsible for leading the crew on site and ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard. This role involves a mixture of Perth metro and regional WA projects, so applicants must be willing to travel and work away when required.
Key responsibilities
Leading and supervising rigging crews on site
Telecommunications rigging, installation and upgrade works
Installation and removal of antennas, RRUs, feeders and associated equipment
Tower, monopole and rooftop works
Coordinating daily site activities and allocating tasks to crew members
Reading and working from construction drawings, RF designs and scopes of work
Ensuring installations meet client specifications and quality requirements
Identifying and resolving issues on site
Liaising with MCE management, clients and other contractors as required
Maintaining high safety and workmanship standards
About you
Robust telecommunications rigging experience
Previous experience as a Lead Rigger, Senior Rigger or Rigging Supervisor
Ability to confidently run a telecommunications site and lead a crew
Robust knowledge of telecommunications installation standards and procedures
Experience across Telstra, Optus and/or TPG/Vodafone projects
Robust attention to detail and commitment to completing works correctly the first time
Good communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and make decisions on site
Basic, Intermediate or Advanced Rigging High Risk Work Licence
Working at Heights, Tower Rescue, First Aid & CPR, Construction White Card, Current Australian driver's licence
