Power Network Alliance has an exciting prospect for an experienced Excavator Operator and a laborer to join our team in Brooklyn, VIC 3012. This full time role is responsible for operating an excavator to dig around live assets for the power industry. The laboring role will include all general laboring duties including shoveling, crowbar work, installation of conduits, electrical pits and assisting excavator operator with all works.
What you'll be doing
Safely operate and maintain excavators to carry out a range of earthmoving tasks
Dig, load, lift and move materials and debris as required for construction projects
Ensure all works are completed to the highest quality and safety standards
Perform routine maintenance and inspections on assigned equipment
Work collaboratively with other construction workers and site managers
Adhere to all health, safety and environmental regulations
What we're looking for
Proven experience as an Excavator Operator,
preferably in the power industry but not essential. (Operator position only)
Robust technical skills and knowledge of excavator operation and maintenance
Ability to read and interpret site plans and work instructions
Excellent spatial awareness, hand-eye coordination and problem-solving skills
Commitment to working safely and prioritizing the wellbeing of yourself and others
Heavy Rigid (HR) driver's license is essential (Operator position only)
Excavator license (Operator position only)
