Registered Nurse / Enrolled Nurse position in a purpose-built large medical centre located in the heart of Salisbury Business District. The role involves providing high quality health and medical assessments in a General Practice setting.
Key responsibilities
Provide high quality health and medical assessments
Conduct spirometry, ECG, venepuncture, wound management, childhood and adult immunizations, travel vaccinations, routine injections, chronic disease management, surgical procedure setup and assisting in surgical procedures
Assist doctors with general patient care
Manage administrative tasks such as recalls and reminders
Clinical documentation of nurse led treatment/task
Ensure equipment are well maintained, cold chain, sterilizations, drug expiry and stocking
Comply with privacy and confidentiality principles to all work practices including policies and procedures
Provide support to practice staff and doctors
About you
Appropriate Degree and registration with AHPRA
Previous experience working in a General Practice is essential
Computer skills
Ability to work autonomously
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Commitment to best practice
Commitment to ethical behavior and conduct
National Police Check
Working with Children Check
Adaptable and adaptable to work in a busy setting
