Position Overview

headspace Hawkesbury is seeking highly motivated Private Practitioners for an immediate start to provide Medicare‐funded clinical services to young people aged 12–25 years.

n

This highly flexible opportunity can be tailored around practitioner availability, offering anywhere from 1 to 5 days per week. Practitioners will work autonomously within a supportive multidisciplinary team while delivering evidence‐based, high‐quality care to young people experiencing mental health challenges.

n

Private Practitioners undertake assessments, treatment planning, and evidence‐based psychological interventions and are highly valued members of the broader clinical team.

n

Essential Criteria

n

n
Full registration as a Clinical Psychologist or a General Psychologist through AHPRA;
n
Mental Health Accredited Social Worker through AASW;
n
Better Access Endorsed Occupational Therapist through OTA;
n
Eligibility to provide services under Medicare;
n




Commitment to achieving therapeutic goals using effective evidence‐based treatment strategies;
n
Previous experience in delivering psychological interventions;
n
A flexible and solutions‐focused approach to practice;
n
Have an ABN or be able to obtain one and appropriate insurances;
n
Relevant criminal history checks.
