Medical Receptionist – Playford Family Medical Group

We are seeking Medical Receptionists to join our friendly team at Playford Family Medical Group.
No prior experience is required — full training will be provided for the right candidates.We are looking for a bright, bubbly and friendly person to join our team as a Medical Receptionist.

Key Responsibilities
Managing telephone enquiries and scheduling patient appointments
Billing, receipting, and processing Medicare or DVA claims
Scanning, data entry, and maintaining accurate patient records
Providing reception and general administrative support to doctors and allied health professionals

About You

We’re looking for someone who is reliable, adaptable, and enjoys working in a busy, supportive environment.

As the first point of contact for our patients and visiting professionals, you will demonstrate professionalism, warmth, and excellent communication skills.





Essential Criteria
Strong work ethic and a positive, proactive attitude
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Attention to detail with the ability to multitask effectively
Clear verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
Familiarity with Best Practice Medical Software and HICAPS terminal use (preferred but not essential)
Basic knowledge of medical terminology (preferred but not essential)
