About the role

Yering Station, a renowned winery in the heart of the Yarra Valley, is seeking enthusiastic and customer-service oriented Waitstaff to join our dynamic hospitality team. This casual role offers the prospect to work in a picturesque setting, providing exceptional service to our guests. Based in Yarra Glen VIC 3775, you will be an integral part of delivering an unforgettable dining experience.

What you'll be doing
Greet and welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner
Take food and drink orders, ensuring accurate order placement and timely delivery
Provide knowledgeable recommendations on Yering Station's extensive wine and menu offerings
Maintain high standards of table service, including setting and clearing tables
Assist with general dining room tasks as required
Work collaboratively with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure a seamless guest experience

What we're looking for
Previous experience in a Waiting Staff or similar customer service role within the Hospitality & Tourism industry




Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine passion for providing exceptional service
Robust product knowledge, particularly in the areas of wine and food pairing
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented workplace
Versatile and adaptable, with a willingness to work weekends and public holidays
Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification
