About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Welder to join a structural strengthening project in the Sydney CBD.
The works are being carried out within a manhole, with the concrete breakout already completed. You will be responsible for welding steel reinforcement (reo) using a MIG welder as part of the structural strengthening works.
Key Responsibilities
MIG welding steel reinforcement and structural steel
Welding steel reo as part of structural strengthening works
Working within a confined manhole setting
Following site safety procedures and project requirements
Working alongside the site team to complete works safely and efficiently
Maintaining a high standard of workmanship
Requirements
Previous MIG welding experience
Welding Certificate
Confined Space Ticket
Working at Heights Ticket
White Card
Construction, civil, structural strengthening or remedial experience highly regarded
Solid commitment to safety
Reliable and punctual
Ability to work effectively as part of a site team
