Tide Café is seeking an experienced Waiter to join our front-of-house team in a permanent full-time position.

We are looking for someone with strong hospitality experience who can provide qualified, efficient and friendly service in a busy café environment.

The Role

Working as part of our front-of-house team, your responsibilities will include:
Greeting and seating customers
Presenting menus and providing advice on food and beverage selections
Taking food and beverage orders accurately
Providing professional service
Serving meals and beverages to customers
Clearing and resetting tables
Checking customer satisfaction throughout service
Processing customer payments
Communicating effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff
Responding to customer enquiries and special requests
Providing information regarding menu items, ingredients and dietary requirements
Maintaining cleanliness and presentation of dining and service areas
Assisting with opening and closing procedures
Supporting junior front-of-house employees when required
Maintaining food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety standards

About You





Skill and experience required:
Previous experience as a waiter or in a similar food and beverage service position
Positive knowledge of food and beverage service
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to work efficiently in a busy hospitality setting
Strong attention to detail
A professional and reliable approach
The ability to work effectively as part of a team
Availability to work weekends and public holidays as required

Relevant hospitality qualifications and demonstrated experience in a busy café or restaurant environment will be highly regarded.

A flexible roster will apply across the café's operating hours, including weekends and public holidays.
