Role Summary:
Provide person-centred support to an NDIS participant with complex physical support needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide personal care, including showering, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Assist with protected transfers, wheelchair mobility, and pressure care.
Perform routine catheter care and monitor for any concerns.
Administer or assist with medications as authorised.
Support meal preparation, light household tasks, and daily living activities.
Maintain accurate documentation and report any changes in the participant's health or wellbeing.
Follow infection control, manual handling, WHS, and NDIS Practice Standards.
Essential Requirements:
Previous experience supporting people with quadriplegia, spinal cord injury, complex physical disability,
or high physical support needs.
Competence in safe transfer and mobility assistance, catheter care and medication support.
Current First Aid & CPR.
NDIS Worker Screening Check.
National Police Check.
Strong communication skills and a compassionate, skilled approach.
Pay: From $55.00 per hour
