We are working with a leading global proprietary trading firm looking to hire an experienced Trader into its Sydney team, providing APAC-hours coverage for a global digital assets trading business.

The role covers automated market making and delta-one strategies across CeFi and DeFi . You will take responsibility for live trading during APAC hours, monitoring strategies and risk, managing configurations and responding to market or operational events.

Responsibilities
Monitor live automated strategies, positions, exposures and PnL
Manage trading parameters, limits and operational controls
Investigate unusual strategy behaviour, execution issues and PnL movements
Take action during volatile markets, exchange incidents or infrastructure disruptions
Use Python and internal tools to analyse trades, execution quality and strategy performance
Support the rollout of strategies across new instruments, venues and protocols
Work closely with traders, quantitative researchers and developers globally

Background We are looking for candidates with approximately 3–8 years of relevant experience ,



ideally within electronic trading, market making, systematic trading or a closely related trading environment.

You should bring
Strong understanding of electronic markets and live trading risk
Positive judgement and the ability to make decisions in time-sensitive situations
Python proficiency for data analysis and trade investigation
Strong quantitative and analytical skills
A quantitative or technical academic background

Experience in eFX, Delta One, futures, ETFs or other automated/electronic trading environments can be highly relevant. Prior digital assets experience is advantageous, but not essential .
