We're looking for a warm, organised, and compassionate Medical Receptionist to join our friendly haematology specialist practice located in the heart of Melbourne's CBD.

This is a front-of-house role where you'll play an significant part in creating a calm, supportive experience for our patients, many of whom are going through complex or long-term care.

About the Role

n

In this varied and rewarding role, you'll:

n

Welcome patients in person and over the phone, offering reassurance and kindness
n
Manage appointments, referrals, and correspondence with attention to detail
n
Liaise with hospitals, laboratories, and referring doctors
n
Handle billing, Medicare, and EFTPOS transactions
n
Support our specialists and nursing staff with day-to-day administrative tasks
n
Help ensure the clinic runs smoothly and patients feel genuinely cared for
n

About You

Experienced in medical reception or specialist practice administration

A robust communicator with a warm, professional manner

Someone who takes pride in staying organised and calm under pressure

Familiar with Genie, or similar medical software
n
Passionate about making patients feel respected, heard, and supported

Authorised to work in Australia
