Role

n

Paediatric Psychiatrist – part‐time remote. Reports to the Operations Manager.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
Provide patients with professional medical advice via video telehealth using Access Specialist software as per appropriate specialty.
n
Provide medical care through various therapies pertaining to the clinician's speciality.
n
Post‐consultation, provide the referring general practitioner with all relevant consult documentation,



including a summary letter.
n
Ensure consistent and appropriate communication to the operations team regarding ongoing availability to undertake telehealth consults.
n
Request patient test results from health professionals as required to enable thorough consultations.
n
Stay informed on industry updates and changes; use this knowledge where appropriate during consultations.

Skills and Experience

n

n
Experience within community‐based settings and the NDIS (preferred but not essential).
n
Ability to utilise video telehealth technology to perform thorough medical assessments.
n
Effective communication skills to liaise with the operational support team and patients.
n
Experience in using a scheduling platform to ensure availability to provide telehealth services remains updated.
n

Qualifications

n

n
Relevant psychiatry medical qualifications or equivalent.
n
Full registration with AHPRA as a psychiatrist.
n
Hold a fellowship from RANZCP.
