Role Description The Technical Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in Sydney, NSW, supporting Solarwyse’s solar and storage system customers. In this position, the consultant provides technical guidance to installation companies and distributors, including system design advice, product selection support, and configuration assistance. Daily responsibilities include diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues, coordinating with the service center to resolve complex cases, and delivering timely technical support via phone, email, and in person.

The role works closely with the sales and logistics teams to ensure accurate technical information, supports pre- and post-sales consultations,



and contributes to documentation, training materials, and continuous improvement of support processes.

Qualifications
Solid analytical skills to assess system performance, interpret technical data, and propose effective solutions.
Consulting experience in a technical or engineering workplace, ideally within solar, storage, or related energy systems.
Hands-on technical support and troubleshooting skills for inverters, storage systems, and related components.
Sales awareness and the ability to support pre-sales and post-sales customer interactions with clear technical guidance.
Relevant tertiary qualification in engineering, renewable energy, electronics, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
Solid understanding of solar PV and energy storage systems, Australian standards, and installation best practices.
Clear verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Customer-focused mindset, strong problem-solving capabilities, and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in office.
