Job Description
What you'll do
n
n
Provide First Aid and Mental Health First Aid, supporting people in crisis or medical emergencies
n
Promote safe nights out through engagement with party goers, harm reduction, and protected transport support
n
Collaborate with emergency services and venue security
n
n
Role Details
n
Volunteer on Friday and/or Saturday nights with shifts approximate 9:30pm-3:00am. Located in Salamanca & Hobart CBD. Volunteer as often as suits you.
n
Training and ongoing support provided.
n
Volunteers operate in pairs, with a support worker/coordinator always on hand.
n
Requirements
n
n
Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (RWVP)
n
Excellent Communication skills
n
Open‐mind and a desire to learn
n
Work well within a small team
n
Prior training and/or experience in first aid, mental health first aid, etc. are desirable, but not essential.
n
n
