Rate: $47.10 per hour.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM (Potential to move onto Afternoon Shift 2:30 PM - 10:30PM .

Stability: Potential for a Temp-to-Perm transition for the right candidate.

The Role
n
Working in a specialized workshop workplace, you will be responsible for the precision maintenance of train wheels and axles. Key responsibilities include:

Operating specialized machinery and lathes to repair and overhaul rail components.
n
Ensuring all work meets strict safety and quality tolerances.
n
Performing routine machine checks and maintaining a clean workspace.
n
Collaborating with the production team to meet daily output targets.
n

What You Bring
n
To be successful in this role, you must be reliable, safety-conscious, and possess a solid mechanical aptitude.
n
n
Experience: Minimum of 12 months experience in a machine operating or manufacturing environment.
n
Technical Skills: Previous experience operating CNC machines is highly desirable.
n
Precision: Ability to operate lathes and measurement tools with a high degree of accuracy.
n
Reliability: Proven track record of punctuality and a "can-do" attitude.
n

Location
n
This role is based at our facility in Tomago. You will need reliable transport to ensure you can meet the 5:30 AM start time.
