As a Lifestyle Carer at Piper House, you will help create meaningful moments and connections for our aged care residents.

Key responsibilities

n

n
Design and deliver engaging lifestyle programs that promote social interaction, emotional wellbeing, and a sense of purpose for residents.
n
Facilitate group and individual activities tailored to residents' interests and abilities.
n
Support residents in maintaining independence and dignity through meaningful engagement.
n
Collaborate with care teams to integrate lifestyle support into holistic care plans.
n
Encourage participation and build robust relationships with residents and families.
n

What we're looking for

We need a warm, empathetic and creative individual who is passionate about enhancing the lives of older people and who shares our values of integrity, justice, compassion, and excellence.

Qualifications and experience

n

n
Certificate IV in Leisure and Health,



or a Bachelor's or Diploma in Health Science or Community Services.
n
Experience in planning and delivering lifestyle or recreational activities.
n
Current First Aid and CPR certification.
n
Valid NSW Driver's Licence (preferred).
n
NDIS Worker Screening Check (required).
n
Availability to work permanent Tuesday and Thursday shifts (9am-5pm).
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
n
Team-oriented attitude and ability to adapt activities to meet diverse needs and preferences.
