Our Wangara branch has a recent opening for an experienced Electrician to join the ContiTech team. This is a Monday to Friday role with occasional Saturday work and overnight site travel required.

ABOUT OUR ROLES

n

With multiple projects across WA for you to be a part of, you'll be responsible for:

n





n
Carrying out general electrical duties for workshop and site equipment
n
Maintain compliance with safety efficiency and statutory standards
n
Identification of electrical faults
n
Carry out general electrical tagging of equipment
n
Maintenance of vulcanizers, belt winches, hand tools and general workshop maintenance.
n
Shutdowns and belt change outs.
n

ABOUT YOU

n

n
Experienced trade qualified electrician with a minimum of 3 years post trade experience
n
Experience working in a mining or heavy industry environment desirable
n
Exposure to conveyor belts and conveyor equipment advantageous
n
Team player with a solid work ethic
n
an absolute commitment to safety and secure work practices.
n
High risk license, working at heights and confined spaces tickets required
n
valid Drivers License - HR license is desirable
n
ability to fulfill the inherent physical tasks required of this job - which will include repetitive lifting of weights up to 25kgs and working in hot climates.
