Catering Assistant

Salary: $30.22/hour + 25% casual loading + penalty rates

Responsibilities

Assist with preparing, portioning, and presenting meals, including assembling patient trays according to dietary requirements.
n
Deliver meals directly to patient rooms, providing a friendly and respectful interaction while ensuring accuracy and care.
n
Support patients with meal-related requests and communicate effectively with nursing staff and dietitians when required.
n
Assist with kitchen duties including food prep, dishwashing, stock handling, and maintaining hygiene standards.
n

Qualifications

Demonstrates patience when interacting with patients and staff, ensuring their needs are met with care.
n
Understands the importance of providing comfort through food, especially in a healthcare setting.
n
Approaches tasks with a can-do attitude and a willingness to help others.
n
Must have or be able to obtain a National Police Clearance.
