Job Description

We are seeking a part time Tax Accountant to join our team in Ringwood.

n

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified taxation qualified to maintain flexibility in their work/life arrangements whilst continuing to work with a professional fun team.

You will play a key role in delivering high-quality tax compliance services to our diverse client base, including

n

n
Assist with preparing financial statements for companies, trusts, partnerships, sole traders and SMSFs
n
Assist with preparing income tax returns for all entity types
n
Assist with preparing BAS and IAS returns, including GST reconciliations
n
Assist with managing payroll tax, FBT and other compliance obligations
n
Assist with preparing management reports and cashflow forecasts
n
Utilise modern cloud based systems including Xero, Class, XPM, FYI and Nowinfinity
n

Ideal Candidate:

n

n
CA or CPA qualified
n
Strong knowledge of Australian taxation law and ATO compliance requirements
n
Proficiency with tax software and accounting packages, such as Xero or similar platforms
n
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when preparing financial and tax documentation
n
Understanding of current GST, PAYG,



and other tax obligations
n
Previous experience in a public practice firm
