About the job Site Foreman - High-end Residential

The Role

n

Our Client is a highly reputable construction company who specialise in building high-end residential houses, working with some of Australia's most reputable Architects.

n

They are looking for an experienced hands‐on Foreman to join their team to support on projects in north shore and eastern suburblocations.

n

Key Attributes

n

n
Successfully deliver projects from pre‐construction through to defect liability, handover and even ongoing maintenance
n
This is a hands‐on role where you will be both on the tools and overseeing a team of carpenters/ labourers on‐site. A desire to want to still be on the tools is essential.
n
You will have a passion for high quality building and craftsmanship and will partner daily with the Site Manager and Architects to resolve building design issues during construction.
n

Core Skill Requirements

n

n
to have a minimum of 3 years experience as a Foreman / Leading Hand;
n
Solid track record in architect designed residential construction;
n
An understanding of construction detail resolution;
n




Experience in doors, locks, windows, metalworks and finishing trades;
n
Good knowledge of basic plumbing, mechanical and electrical services;
n
Excellent attention to detail, quality and finish;
n
Understanding of construction sequences;
n
Ability to think through issues and resolve problems;
n
Ability to communicate instructions to other team members or sub‐trades;
n
Ability to maintain a secure and clean work setting;
n
to be well presented, with strong time management skills, excellent attention to detail and willingness to learn and teach
n
High degree of English proficiency;
n
Works well both in a team and independently, always seeing tasks through to completion;
n
to be available while site is open Monday to Saturday;
n
