About the Role
n
An chance has become available for a WHS Coordinator / Safety Advisor with around 2 years' experience to join a major construction site. Reporting to an experienced Safety Manager, you will play a key role in supporting all aspects of work health and safety (WHS) on a large-scale project.
n
This is a hands-on, site-based role ideal for someone looking to grow their career in construction safety and gain exposure to complex builds.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Assist with day-to-day site safety coordination on a major construction project
n
Conduct site inspections, audits and safety walks
n
Support incident investigations, reporting and corrective actions
n
Ensure SWMS (Safe Work Method Statements) and risk assessments are compliant
n
Monitor and enforce WHS policies and procedures on site
n
Work closely with site managers, supervisors and subcontractors
n
Promote a strong safety culture across the project
n
n
Skills & Experience
n
n
2+ years' experience in a WHS / Safety role within construction
n
Exposure to residential, commercial or high-rise projects
n
Understanding of NSW WHS legislation and site compliance
n
Solid communication skills and ability to engage with site teams
n
Relevant WHS qualifications (Cert IV or similar)
n
Proactive, hands‐on approach with a desire to build a long‐term career in safety
n
