Finlay Jude Associates are recruiting on behalf of a leading organisation within the utilities sector for Smart Meter Technicians . No prior experience is necessary – full training, equipment, and a company vehicle will be provided.
This is an excellent prospect for someone looking to start a long-term career in the utilities sector. You’ll be working across the local water network installing and exchanging smart water meters and uploading data via a company-issued tablet.
Smart Meter Technician Key Responsibilities
Install and exchange smart water meters at customer properties
Upload data using provided tablet and software
Supporting the team on a variety of different projects and initiatives. Undertaking water network surveys and installations.
Responsibility for the successful delivery of small projects and packages of work.
Working independently as a single person unit within urban/suburban environments
What We’re Looking For
A positive attitude and solid work ethic
Physically fit and able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
A reasonably clean UK driving licence
Ability to work Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
Must be located within commutable distance to Bath (accommodation not provided)
