The Role
n
We require a Telecoms Designer to join our national telecommunications design team, focusing on recoverable works projects for Telstra/NBN customer access networks.
n
n
Carry out field inspections to investigate and capture accurate network data.
n
Liaise and maintain rapport with Clients, Councils, Telstra and other carriers, and Main Roads.
n
Design Copper and Optic Fibre network relocation works solutions for recoverable works (RW) projects.
n
Design civil asset network relocation works solutions for RW projects.
n
Supply detailed plan mark‐ups for drafting.
n
Review design projects to ensure accuracy and technical compliance.
n
Prepare quantity and construction cost estimates.
n
Optimize productivity to meet established targets.
n
Demonstrate project management capabilities.
n

Qualifications
n
n
Minimum of 5 years' experience in the Telco external field works areas.
n
Construction and/or project management experience.
n
Operational knowledge and understanding of Telstra/NBN systems.
n
Current driver's licence.
n
Knowledge of Telstra/NBN copper and optic fibre networks.
n
Basic AutoCAD skills are an advantage.
n
