International Career Chance – Australia – Rombola Family Farms is seeking passionate and driven Heavy Diesel Mechanics to join our team in Mataranka, NT, Douglas‐Daly, NT, and Griffith, NSW. This is a permanent, full‐time position reporting to the Engineering Manager.

Key Responsibilities
n

Conduct regular maintenance checks on all farm machinery.
n
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues.
n
Repair and replace faulty parts.
n
Perform routine servicing and oil changes.
n
Carry out tyre fitting, inspection, repair, and replacement on heavy diesel machinery and fleet vehicles, including fault identification and ensuring all work meets safety and operational requirements.
n
Ensure all machinery operates safely and efficiently.
n

Required Qualifications
n
n
Experience working as a diesel mechanic, preferably with farm machinery.
n
Strong understanding of diesel engines and hydraulic systems.
n
Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to working with heavy machinery.
n
Robust problem‐solving skills and ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues.
n
Excellent communication skills.
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
n
Attention to detail and commitment to safety.
n
Willingness to work flexible hours during peak periods.
n

Perks & Compensation

Attractive remuneration package based upon relevant qualifications and experience, salary range between $79,000 to $90,000 per annum.
