Council Worker Driver: A local council in the western Sydney area is looking for a civil labourer with a truck licence to join their team. This role plays a key part in maintaining and improving our local roads, footpaths, parks, street furniture replacement, drainage work, and metal fabrication, contributing to a safe and vibrant community. Key Responsibilities

Road maintenance, specifically driving trucks to and from the work site, maintaining drainage structures.
n
repairing failed road pavements/ footpaths, operating minor plants, using hand power and air tools.
n
Assist with site preparation, clean-up, and traffic control as required.
n
Ensure compliance with WHS regulations and council policies.
n
Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to deliver high-quality outcomes.
n

To be eligible for this role, you must have the following:
n
n
HR/MR Truck licence (mandatory)
n
WHS Industry Certificate (White Card) (mandatory)
n
Previous experience in civil construction or labouring preferred.
n
Strong work ethic and ability to work in a team environment.
n
Valuable communication skills and attention to detail.
