Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper / Finance Officer to join our finance team in Cheltenham.

This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for a range of day-to-day finance activities and work closely with the Financial Controller and wider finance team.

About the role

n

n
Managing day-to-day bookkeeping and finance transactions
n
Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable
n
Preparing and issuing invoices, including ensuring PO requirements are met including uploading to client portal
n
Liaise with clients regarding invoice needs
n
Completing bank and credit card reconciliations
n
Maintaining accurate financial records in Xero (working knowledge of MYOB an advantage )
n
Assisting with month-end processes and reconciliations
n
Maintaining supplier and customer records
n
Investigating and resolving discrepancies
n
Assisting with reporting and other finance tasks as required
n
Helping to improve and maintain efficient finance processes
n

Good experience across accounts payable, accounts receivable and general bookkeeping
n
Experience usingXero and MYOB
n
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
n
Good organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
n
The ability to work independently and meet deadlines
n
Good communication and problem-solving skills
n
A practical and positive approach to getting things done
n

Experience working in a growing or multi-entity business would be an advantage.
