About the Role

We're looking for a talented and motivated Demi Chef to be a key support to our kitchen leadership and help create incredible dining experiences for our residents at Oxley Grove Care Community.

Roster: 8 shifts per fortnight - 6am-2.30pm
n
Remuneration: Hourly rate + penalty rates & superannuation
n

What You'll Do

n

n
Prepare and cook nutritious, high-quality meals that meet resident dietary needs and preferences.
n




Support the Head and Sous Chefs in daily kitchen operations and food service.
n
Help maintain the highest standards of food safety, kitchen hygiene, and compliance.
n
Step up and lead sections of the kitchen, developing your supervisory skills.
n
Contribute ideas to menus and help create a dining experience that brings joy to our residents.
n

What You'll Need

n

n
Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent experience.
n
Several years of cooking experience in a commercial kitchen.
n
Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
n
A passion for food and a genuine desire to learn and take on more responsibility.
n
Strong teamwork, communication, and time-management skills.
n
Willingness to complete: Pre-employment medical, NDIS Worker Screening Check
