Role and Responsibilities
n
n
Work collaboratively with the Student Wellbeing Coordinator to mentor and counsel students as part of the Student Wellbeing Team.
n
Assist with the implementation of the College's Restorative Approaches program.
n
Assist with the implementation of the Australian Student Wellbeing framework and the "Be You", "What's the Buzz" and Coolness under Pressure programs.
n
Facilitate delivery of a Certificate III in Christian Ministry and Theology (VETAmorphus).
n
n
Qualifications
n
n
A certificate or diploma level qualification, preferably with a specialisation in Counselling, with previous related work experience highly desirable.
n
South Australian Government Working with Children Check.
n
Current First Aid qualification – BELS First Aid training (HLTAID010) at a minimum.
n
Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect – Education and Care (RRHAN-EC) Training.
n
n

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
n
Ability to develop and maintain cooperative relationships with students, staff and parents.
n
Effective facilitation skills, ensuring participants meet learning objectives.
n
Effective time management skills with proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload.

Ability to be creative, enthusiastic and self-motivated.
n
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
n
Ability to manage the demands of the position including administration and qualified responsibilities.
